Excellent story, great characters, and superb dialogue. Similar to Elmore Leonard.
To me, the mark of a great book is wanting badly to find about what happens but at the same time not wanting it to end. This book fits that mold to a tee.
I'm not a cop, but this book feels like the real deal. If you don't get emotional your dead. Get Brad Pitt to star in the movie and it's Academy Award time. You heard it here first.😎

Fast moving good story but it like reading a script not a book It appears this was written to make a movie Fast moving some good twists
Could not put this one down, non stop interest and a storyline which is probably truer than fiction in a lot of cities.
I like Winslow's books, but this one was taken from the last couple of seasons of Shades of Blue. Started OK, got off track halfway through, then ended on a completely unbelievable note. Crooked cops, corrupt politicians, self serving Feds. They are all included in a drama that we've read a hundred times. No need to make it a hundred and one.
